The other day Esther and I were frosting cookies. She picked up a cross shaped cookie to frost and asked me, "What's Jesus' favorite color?"
My absent-minded response was, "Well, I really don't know."
She said,"I know, I'll ask." At this point she bowed her head, folded her hands and said, "Dear God, what's your favorite color." There was a long pause. "Well, he didn't say anything. But, I think it's probably blue."
"Why is that?"
"Well he's kinda like a boy, and boys mostly like blue."
Good thinking Esther---and since he made water and skies blue, He must like blue.
